A Chicago-based author, journalist and human rights activist, Jamie will share about his work at the Invisible Institute in the context of media and public accountability, specifically "Sixteen Shots" and the death of Laquan McDonald.

Jamie Kalven is the founder of the Invisible Institute, a Chicago-based journalism production company whose mission is to enhance the capacity of citizens to hold public institutions accountable.
