The Center for Urban Engagement at Wheaton College presents “Sixteen Shots,” a lecture by Jamie Kalven
A Chicago-based author, journalist and human rights activist, Jamie will share about his work at the Invisible Institute in the context of media and public accountability, specifically "Sixteen Shots" and the death of Laquan McDonald.
Jamie Kalven is the founder of the Invisible Institute, a Chicago-based journalism production company whose mission is to enhance the capacity of citizens to hold public institutions accountable.
This event is free and open to the public and will take place in Pierce Chapel, Auditorium, located at 433 N. Washington St. in Wheaton.
