Shimmering, hand dyed bamboo fiber will be transformed into a paper-like fabric that may be draped over forms for 3D objects or dried flat, framed or used as background in your artwork. Supplies, fiber and textile medium will be provided for each person to create one piece. Bring a towel, a shallow pan (old cookie sheet) and a small bowl or vase to drape over for sculptural finish. Wear old clothes and bring rubber gloves. Choose your own color palette, cut and layer base fiber and design elements. Pieces will go home wet and need 48 hours of drying time.
