Tea for Three: A Leslie Goddard Program

Tea for Three: A Leslie Goddard Program

Presented by Glen Ellyn Historical Society at Glen Ellyn Historical Society

In this humorous, poignant and insightful historical portrayal by Eric H. Weinberger and Elaine Bromka, actress and historian Leslie Goddard brings to life Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, and Betty Ford as each woman prepare for the end of her husband’s term in office. Each woman reflects back on what brought her to the White House, her relationship with her spouse, and how she forged her own path in the White House. Each reveals, ultimately, how she had to find her own way.
