Adams will present LGBTQIA+ Challenges: Inequities Across A Lifespan, this year’s William R. Johnson Intercultural Lecture, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Elmhurst College.
As the chief executive officer of SAGE, Michael Adams has used his expertise and heart to improve opportunities and quality-of-life issues for millions of LGBTQIA+ older people across the country.
Before joining SAGE, Adams was the director of education and public affairs for Lambda Legal. He also spent a decade leading cutting-edge litigation that established new rights for LGBTQIA+ people as associate director of the ACLU’s Lesbian and Gay Rights Project.
Adams will present LGBTQIA+ Challenges: Inequities Across A Lifespan, this year’s William R. Johnson Intercultural Lecture, on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Elmhurst College.
The Johnson lecture will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Schaible Science Center, in Illinois Hall, (190 Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, elmhurst.edu/campusmap).
