Spend a spooky autumn evening in Naperville's Riverwalk Grand Pavilion with the Summer Place Theatre storytellers. Hear chilling and thrilling ghost stories - some old favorites, some original tales written by the storytellers.
Summer Place offers two types of performances. The earlier show is more silly and not too scary so younger kids (5 and up) will be more comfortable. A slightly scarier and more cerebral batch of stories to get under your skin are told at the later show to appeal to older kids (12 and up.
At the conclusion of each show, audience members are invited to enjoy a cup of hot cider or cold 'ectoplasm' punch and a cookie, thanks to Meijer's sponsorship.
Tickets can be purchased from the Naperville Park District or when you arrive at the show. Tickets are $7 for ages 5 and up. Specific shows are more G-rated for younger audience members -- see below:
