Lock all the doors! There are monsters in Illinois! Ghoulish stories such as the Murphysboro Mud Monster, Headless Horseman of Illinois, Nellie the Lion, Bigfoot in Illinois, the Mad Gasser of Mattoon, and more will chill your bones! Come join professional speaker Terry Lynch as he shares stories about what might have once been stirring in the Midwest United States.

About our speaker: Terry Lynch has over 20 years’ experience as a professional actor in Chicagoland. He has trained at, among others: Northern Illinois University, Second City Training Center, and Improv Olympic. He has been seen with Emerald City Theater, spent seven seasons with AlphaBet Soup Productions, and has performed in professional theater, radio, and television around Chicago. Terry has performed at theaters around Chicago including Circle Theatre, Donny’s Skybox, and National Pastime. He has been heard in radio spots for St. Paul Federal in Chicago and St. Anthony's Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. He is also a regular contributor to the WGN Morning Show. Parking Info

There is convenient, free parking in our lot. If the lot is full, additional parking is located behind Stacy's Tavern Museum. If school is closed, you may also park by the elementary school, or across the street at the District 41 Administration Building. There is also parking on nearby residential streets, but watch for directional signs as not all side streets allow parking on both sides.
