Artist Reception for Richard Archer Retrospective and Studios630 Group Show

Artist Reception for Richard Archer Retrospective and Studios630 Group Show

at National University of Health Sciences, Clinic Building B

On Sunday, August 25th from 3-5pm, the Studios630 local artist group is holding an Artists’ Reception at the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard to celebrate its Group Show and the solo exhibit Retrospective by artist Richard Archer. Richard is a retired pharmacist and pharmacy owner who has been painting with passion for most of his life.  Always fascinated and motivated by color, Richard created a body of work that includes dynamic graphic compositions along with traditional landscapes, portraits, collages and 3-D sculptures. This reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Artists will be on hand to talk about their works. Fine art originals will be available for purchase. “This show features art that is amazing, affordable and could enhance your home or office” proclaims Carol Marcus, who is a member of the group.  These local artists present a variety of styles and media which include oils, collage, acrylic, mixed media, colored pencil, and more. Studios630 president Sharon Tinker encourages local artists who are not yet members to stop by and meet us at the show or visit the Studios630.org website for information.

The NUHS Art Gallery, which is managed by Studios630, can be found inside Clinic Building B of National University of Health Sciences (NUHS), 200 E. Roosevelt Road in Lombard just north at Highland Avenue. The exhibit can be viewed by the public during normal clinic operating hours - Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
