Written by Sonia Nazario and based on the Los Angeles Times newspaper series that won two Pulitzer Prizes, Enrique’s Journey tells the story of a young Honduran boy who ventures to the U.S. to find his mother, who left 11 years earlier to find work and support her family. Discussion led by Elmhurst Public Library and Elmhurst History Museum staff. Program includes after-hours access to exhibits. A limited number of books are available at Elmhurst Public Library.
