Small Group Jazz ensemble is designed to address the fundamental concepts of jazz performance. Includes reading a jazz lead sheet, improvising over various forms common in jazz, and constructing small-group arrangements.

Performance features a variety of types of jazz, ranging from classic to contemporary, instrumental as well as vocal.
