A biography on one of Mexico’s best-known artist Frida Kahlo, which charts her life from feisty schoolgirl to her complicated relationship with Diego Rivera and becoming a world-renowned artist in her own right. Artwork of Kahlo shown directly or depicted in the film by the characters include The Bus, Frieda and Diego Rivera, What the Water Gave Me, The Two Fridas, The Broken Column and The Wounded Deer.
