The Bloomingdale Museum is hosting the Illinois Watercolor Society's yearly membership show August 3-31. The public is invited to a complimentary reception on Sunday, August 11, 2-4 pm.
The Illinois Watercolor Society was founded in 1981 and sponsors a yearly members' invitational exhibit, along with a national juried show and a "smalls" juried show. The Society, in partnership with the Oak Brook library, features watercolor demonstrations at their bi-monthly meetings at the library. These meetings are free and open to the public.
