Wheaton Public Library will celebrating Harry Potter’s birthday with its first ever all ages Wizard Fest on Saturday, July 27 from 10 am to 4 pm on the main floor and lower level of the library.

There will be hands-on activities for fans of “The Boy Who Lived” throughout the library, including a scavenger hunt, Bingo, wand making, Butterbeer tasting, a costume contest, and a live performance by self-proclaimed “wizard rock band,” Tonks and the Aurors at 3 pm. Attendees may even bring their own lunch and eat in the Great Hall.

The week leading up to the event will feature Harry Potter Trivia at Dry City Brew Works on Wednesday, July 24 at 7 pm, no registration required. The library will also host a Harry Potter themed drawing workshop for teens and adults on Thursday, July 25 at 7 pm, registration required at wheatonlibrary.org/calendar.
