The ACA summer concerts take place every Tuesday evening in July and then the second Tuesday in August. This summer we will enjoy six musical groups.

Our fourth concert features the Limited Edition Big Band! They play a variety of music from the great touring bands such as Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton, and Woody Herman to classics by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman.

These 18 musicians, many of whom are session players or members of other jazz, big band or pop bands in the Chicago Metro area, are a "cream of the crop" ensemble. Their members have toured with big band stars such as Henry Mancini and Ray Charles and the band showcases many fine soloists from all sections. One of their featured players, Cary Davids, moonlights as a nuclear physicist.
