Creating edible representations of book titles may sound a little unusual, but it is nothing new in Clarendon Hills.  Residents have been coming up with creative, clever and delicious edible books since 2012.  On Saturday, July 20, the library will host Edible Book Contest 2019. Everyone is eligible to enter, and prizes will be awarded in five categories: Children K – Grade 6, Young Adults Grades 6-12, Adults, Families, and People’s Choice.

Participants are asked to drop off their entries from 11 am until noon on July 20^th. The public is invited to view and vote for their favorites from 1 pm to 2 pm and awards will be announced at 2 pm. The public is then cordially invited to sample the entries.
