Come make art at the Downtown Downers Grove Market. Visit The Art Department tent from 10am to noon to participate in the "Weathered Art" community art project. We are using indigo dye to create interesting patterns on your hand drawn flags. This art experience is safe for all ages and we handle the dyeing on site - participants won't get dye on them! The resulting art work will be hung as an art installation in front of the Downers Grove Public Library to weather.

The culminating event will be an exhibit of these works, as well as larger weathered works by professional arts, at Upstairs@St. Andrew's in Downers Grove on the evening of October 5, 2019.
