Traverse the continents and the centuries as you enjoy a wide array of vibrant dance music from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. You’ll be dancing in the aisles!
Vibrant dance music from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas is the inspiration for this year’s DuPage Symphony summer concert in downtown Naperville. With a mix of familiar and unusual orchestral dances – including the Polovtsian Dances from Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor, the Suite No. 2 from Manuel de Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat, plus excerpts from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, Aaron Copland’s Rodeo, Jerry Bock’s Fiddler on the Roof, and more – this effervescent program will surely have you tapping your feet, or maybe dancing in the aisles! Join the DSO for this free, family-friendly outdoor summer concert, presented under the stars in Naperville’s beautiful Central Park. Don’t miss your chance to hear this highly accomplished local orchestra, made up of 90+ talented and enthusiastic musicians, in a FREE outdoor concert at the height of summer.
