The Glen Ellyn - Wheaton Music Club's annual Scholarship Contest and Recital information:

The Glen Ellyn Musicians Club (organized in 1933) and the Performing Arts Society (formerly Wheaton Music Club organized in 1955) merged in 2004 to form the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Music Club. The Clubs have held annual scholarship contests since 1959, and the contestants are string, wind, and piano students who are in 7th through 12th grades. All contestants either reside in DuPage County or study music in DuPage County. Rules and information are found at www.gewmc.org. The contest was February 11, 2017.

The winners' recital will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Windsor Park Manor Auditorium, 124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream, IL 60188. The recital is free, and there is no registration or tickets. Parking is limited.
