Korean Children's Choir Concert

Korean Children's Choir Concert

Presented by Wheaton College Conservatory of Music at Billy Graham Center

Dr. Billy (Jang-Hwan) Kim is a world-renowned evangelist and broadcaster, having preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world to thousands of people in all walks of life.

The Korea radio ministry began in 1956 to broadcast the Gospel message to North Korea, China, Russia and Mongolia, where missionaries themselves could not go. Today FEBC-Korea broadcasts on two high-powered AM transmitters proclaiming the Gospel in Korean, Chinese, English, Japanese and Russian. Following 45 years as a pastor of the 15,000-member Central Baptist Church in Suwon, Korea, he currently serves as Pastor Emeritus. Dr. Kim was president of the Baptist World Alliance from 2000-2005. He is also the founder of Suwon Central Christian Academy and Capital Bible College and Seminary in Korea.

The Children's Choir was organized as a ministry of the Far East Broadcasting Company. The Choir members are selected through a rigorous audition process. The children, ranging in age from 7-13, receive training from a voice trainer, choreographer and conductor. Concerts are performed throughout the year in Korea and the United States. Colorful costumes and traditional Korean dance add to the excitement and pageantry of the concerts. FEBC-Korea is pleased to offer concerts free from fees or honorariums. All love offerings support the ministry of FEBC in Korea.
