Visiting Artist Series: Nature Composed with Wendy Brockman

Visiting Artist Series: Nature Composed with Wendy Brockman

Presented by The Morton Arboretum at The Morton Arboretum

Nature artist Wendy Brockman will conduct a three-day workshop, during which participants will practice sketches and drawings to create pencil and mixed-media compositions that use nature as a visual framework to express ideas. Each artist will be encouraged to explore their individual interests and style. Working with a variety of materials on paper, this class will be an opportunity to sharpen drawing and painting skills while contemplating the natural world in new ways.  Widely exhibited, Brockman’s paintings have been included in many group and solo exhibitions. Her work has received national and international exhibition awards and is held in public and private collections throughout the world.
