The Elmhurst College Theatre ensemble aims to find new life in an ancient tragedy that some have called the greatest anti-war play ever written.
Troy's captive women, royal and commoners alike, await their fates at the hands of Greek conquerors after the invasion and destruction of their home. This adaptation - drawn from translations by Gilbert Murray and Edith Hamilton, text from Homer's The Illiad, Seneca's Troades, and devised material from the ensemble - aims to find new life in an ancient tragedy that some have called the greatest anti-war play ever written.
