Due to a temporary closing, the Villa Park Public Library has rescheduled their Food for Fines Week (originally scheduled during National Library Week, April 7-13) for Sunday, May 5 to Saturday, May 11.

Patrons can receive $1.00 off accrued fines on their library accounts for every one item donated. The library will accept non-perishable food or personal hygiene items. All donations must be unopened, unexpired and undamaged; items in dented cans or glass containers will not be accepted. Food products will be donated to Christian Church of Villa Park Disciples Food Pantry and personal hygiene items will be taken to Hands & Feet Outreach Center.

Only Villa Park Public Library fines can be waived; this limited-time offer does not apply to collection agency fees, lost/damaged item fees, postage or fines/fees from other libraries. No change or cash will be given.
