Revolutionary War

Presented by Cantigny Park at Cantigny Park

Did you know that Robert McCormick and Benjamin Franklin both ran newspapers?  Our printing activity will celebrate the tie between these two printers.  Then we’ll test our hand at using a quill pen to sign the Declaration of Independence.  Don’t worry, we aren’t forgetting the ladies, we’ll have a station on the ladies of the 18th century as well!

On the Second Saturday of each month, March- December, the McCormick House presents a drop-in family program from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  Locations and themes will vary throughout the season.
