Family Night: Touch a Truck and Serendipity

Family Night: Touch a Truck and Serendipity

Presented by Cantigny Park at Parade Field

In addition to loads of Trucks from Fire & Police to Military & Construction for close hands on inspection, CJ Race Way will also be hosting free RC racing from 5pm to 8pm! Come hungry as we will have a variety of food truck vendors for you to enjoy.  Great fun for the whole family!

Stick around for our Serendipity concert starting at 6:00pm.  Serendipity is an all-female pop/rock band from the Chicago suburbs.  Formed in 2011 by bassist Haley Blomquist and vocalist Josie Treffy, the band has grown in size to include Lauren Conner on guitar, Sam Paige on keys/vocals/guitar, and Bridget Stiebris on drums.  Serendipity is most notable for playing a combination of 60’s/70’s/80’s covers and pop hits at summer festivals.  However, the band recently released their first EP in 2017, entitled Welcome to my Mind, and are currently working on their first full-length record.

After the music, stay to watch our Friday night Movie in the Park, Bumblebee which starts at 8:30pm at the red bandshell.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets.  Food vendors will be on site.
