The 2019 McCormick House Lecture Series begins as Interpretation Manager Jeffrey Anderson presents the intriguing story of Joseph Medill, a Civil War-era newspaper publisher, vocal slavery abolitionist, original Cantigny Park inhabitant and grandfather of Robert R. McCormick. This program honoring Black History Month is geared towards adult audiences. Admission and parking are free, but advance registration is requested due to limited seating. Anderson will speak in the Visitors Center Theater.

Parking Info

Cantigny's regular daily parking fee is $5 per car. Parking is free on the first Wednesday of every month. On Saturdays and Sundays, May through September, parking is $10. The $10 rate also applies on Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. Parking is free at all times for Cantigny Park members, Honor Club members, and those attending ticketed events or other fee-based programs.
