Faculty Recital Series: Solo Piano by Aaron Stampfl

Presented by Wheaton College Conservatory of Music at Armerding Center for Music and the Arts

Aaron Stampfl completed a Doctorate in Music at Northwestern University studying piano with Alan Chow. Stampfl completed his undergraduate studies at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Daniel Paul Horn. He studied piano and chamber music with Shigeo Neriki, Evelyn Brancart and János Starker at Indiana University, receiving a Master’s Degree and Performance Diploma.

As a soloist, Stampfl has given many concerts including performances at the Chicago Cultural Center and Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall. He has been heard live on Vermont Public Radio and Chicago’s Q101.

In addition to maintaining a private studio, Dr. Stampfl currently serves as Guest Lecturer of Piano at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music.

This event is part of the Faculty Recital Series at Wheaton College and will take place in Armerding Center for Music and the Arts Recital Hall, which is located at 520 E. Kenilworth Ave. on Wheaton's campus. Tickets are available only at the door and cost $10 for general audience and $5 for seniors over 60. Admission is free to students and Wheaton College ID holders.
