Canto Zenzero, the "Singing Gingers" is a group of talented, classically trained, red-headed, sopranos. With a wide repertoire of sound, these ginger vocalists bring class, style, and pizzaz to a number of genres. With an impressive list of accomplishments, Canto Zenzero includes performances in Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Fledermaus, Fidelio, Tannhäuser, Alcina, The Pirates of Penzance, Brigadoon and A Christmas Carol. With their combined talents they have also been featured with companies such as, The New York Philharmonic, Tri-Cities Opera, On Site Opera, The Princeton Festival, Utah Lyric Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Opernfest Prague, and Chicago Choral Scholars. Performing both nationally and internationally Canto Zenzero is sure to delight and entertain you. Canto Zenzero will be teaming up with well known organist Jay Yau to perform an evening of classical organ works, and holiday music to usher in the Christmas season.
