To recognize the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice to end WW I.
We feature a lobby display of the personal collection of WWI veteran Cpl. George Brooks.
George Brooks served as a company runner, and took part in three major battles. On his return home to Chicago, he brought back numerous items used during his service. The display includes his daily diary, pay record, helmet, gas mask, maps, German items found on the battle field, postcards, photos, medals, dog tags, and discharge papers.
