Author William Hazelgrove will shed light on Teddy Roosevelt’s experiences in the “wild west” that transformed him from a sickly child suffering from debilitating asthma to the healthy, robust dynamic leader that we know.

Forging a President: How the Wild West Created Teddy Roosevelt is one of William Hazelgrove's four non-fiction titles. He is also the author of ten novels. His books have received starred reviews in Publisher Weekly, Kirkus,and Booklist, Book of the Month Selections, ALA Editors Choice Awards, Junior Library Guild Selections and been optioned for the movies. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
