Naperville Art League Back to Basics Acrylic Painting Classes

Nancy D'Agostino leads this class designed for those who wish to hone their skills and get back to the basics of acrylic painting, or for those who are new to painting. Students will complete three paintings while they refresh or learn techniques to develop their own style. This is for beginner and intermediate painters. Instructor will provide all materials. Materials fee of $30 due first day of class.

About Nancy D'Agostino: Nancy was an instructor at Benedictine University Center for Life Long Learning for four years; is currently an instructor for Grumbacher Paints; and is currently a facilitator for developmentally challenged adults, at the Center for the Arts for Little City Foundation.

Nancy has taught painting, drawing, and printmaking to children and adults for the past twenty-five years. An award winning printmaker, fine artist, and graphic designer, she has created work that has been exhibited internationally and in private collections and galleries in Italy, England, Brazil, Mexico,Ecuador, and the USA. Nancy enjoys judging exhibits, developing exhibits, and is founder of theMayslake Peabody Estate Fine Arts Fair. She has attended Parson School of Design, Academy of ArtUniversity, Studied Botanical Art, and holds an AA in Graphic Design, BA in Studio Arts from BenedictineUniversity, cum laude.
