Chamber Singers, an a cappella choir, performs powerful music from African American traditions, music by such artists as Lennon and McCartney, Sweet Honey in the Rock, along with dramatic music by American composers Randall Stroppe, Gwyneth Walker, Lee Kesselman and Tim Takach.

About the Director: Lee R. Kesselman has been the director of Choral Activities at COD since 1981. Conductor, pianist, teacher and award-winning composer, he directs the DuPage Chorale, New Classic Singers, Chamber Singers and Concert Choir. He serves as Director of Choral Activities at College of DuPage. In demand as a guest conductor and clinician, Kesselman has conducted Dominick Argento’s Postcard from Morocco for OperaWorks! in Madison, WI. A member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and receipient of 20 consecutive ASCAP awards, Kesselman’s compositions have been published by Boosey & Hawkes, Roger Dean Music, Colla Voce and Kesselman Press.
