An exciting unplugged open mike night for high school and college age students

LAST THURSDAY is an opportunity for your creativity: music, poetry, and any other performance art. It’s a great chance to share your ideas and perform in one of the best acoustic venues in the Chicago area. The Two Way Street crowd listens intently to introspective poetry, enjoys singer-songwriters, and rocks to some blazing guitar riffs. And some audience members come to hang out and hear something new and innovative. Refreshments are available. A sound system and microphones will be set up and waiting.

LAST THURSDAY happens on the last Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Signups are first come, first served.

Park free in the Curtiss Street parking garage. On-street parking is also available.

There are several places for patrons to park including:
  • On-street parking
  • Downers Grove Parking Deck
  • Commuter parking lots are free after 11:00 a.m. on weekdays, as well as on weekends and major holidays
  • Handicapped accessible parking is available on Main Street, Rogers Street, Curtiss Street, Washington Street (by the Post Office), and on Warren Avenue
  • Accessible parking can also be found in Commuter Lot A and the Parking Deck
