NEW PHILHARMONIC PRESENTS: SHOW BOAT & SHOW TUNES

Presented by McAninch Arts Center at McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage

Before they were a team, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein each had successful writing partnerships. Hammerstein and composer Jerome Kern created numerous productions, including Show Boat.  Meanwhile, Rodgers and Lorenz Hart collaborated on over 30 productions and classic songs – “My Funny Valentine,” “This Can’t Be Love,” and “Little Boy Blue.” Join us as we celebrate these prolific artists as New Philharmonic is joined by four guest vocalists and an 80-voice chorus to perform selections of hits including “Ol’ Man River,” “Make Believe,” “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man.”

Kirk Muspratt, Music Director and Conductor

Brooklyn Snow, soprano
