Contemporary knife paintings by Maggie Capettini
Though smaller in scale, Capettini's paintings are big on expressive color, rich texture, and bold shapes. This showing of approximately 20 works done in oil using painting knives includes both plein air (done on location) and studio paintings. Local landscapes, as well as those as far-flung as Maine, are captured in all seasons.
Free; all ages. Open for viewing during regular library hours.
