Bring lawn chairs and blankets and get ready for some dancin' in the street! The concert series runs Wednesdays for six weeks beginning June 20 and runs through August 1. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and will be provided by different restaurants each week. The beverage tent will be serving beer and wine.

June 27: Porky's Groove Machine - Nerd Funk

Porky's Groove Machine is a licensed provider of environmentally sustainable nerd funk that is “ready to help you get on with your baddest self” (Maximum Ink Music Magazine, July 2017). Since forming in 2011, they’ve criss-crossed the Midwest and East Coast, bringing their mature musicality (but no so mature sense of humor) to audiences of all ages. With their tight playing, choreographed dance moves, and audience-engaging performances, they always bring a funky party that is sure to get crowds laughing, dancing, and singing!

On concert days, Prospect Avenue from Park Avenue to the BNSF railroad will be closed to vehicular traffic from 4 - 10:30 p.m. Parking is available in the Metra commuter parking lot at the corners of Prospect Avenue and Ann Street. Please note that no private alcohol, skates, or skateboards are allowed downtown during the event.
