"The Art of Pollinators"

Presented by Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and DuPage Monarch Project at Mayslake Peabody Estate

Nearly 100 prints, drawings, paintings, photographs, and other wall art representing pollinators will be on display in a collaborative initiative between the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and DuPage Monarch Project. The organizations are committed to increasing populations of monarch butterflies and other pollinators.
"As a regional leader in the conservation and protection of imperiled species, we are thrilled to partner with other agencies to build better habitat for pollinators," said Forest Preserve District of DuPage County President Joe Cantore. "We hope you will stop in to view this fascinating art exhibit celebrating pollinators."

An opening meet-the-artists reception is slated for May 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County has been connecting people to nature for more than 100 years. More than 4 million people visit its 60 forest preserves, 145 miles of trails, five education centers and scores of programs each year.
