Spirito! Singers~ If Music Be The Food of Love

Presented by Spirito! Singers at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church

Spirito! Singers is pleased to announce their Spring Concert, “If Music Be the Food of Love” – Celebrating Ten Years of Song! Join Spirito!’s three choral ensembles plus a group of alumnae singers as they perform their 2018 spring repertoire, including the debut of a piece by renowned composer Paul French, commissioned for the Tenth Anniversary. Also debuting is a piece entitled “Shelter Me” by composer Philip Riegle. This piece was composed for ShelterBox USA, a national non-profit organization dedicated to delivering shelter during times of disaster. The piece will be performed and recorded at this concert and will be used in an upcoming ShelterBox video.

Spirito! Singers is an auditioned choir located in Chicago’s western suburbs. It’s comprised of two distinct treble ensembles of 5th grade – 12th grade girls, representing 27 communities and 51 schools.  Spirito! also proudly presents the Men of Spirito!, an ensemble for men 18 years of age and older.

Spirito! Singers was founded in 2008 by Artistic Director Molly Lindberg. Over its ten-year history, it has become one of the staple choral groups in the Chicagoland area. For more information go to www.spiritosingers.org

Parking Info

Located just off Roosevelt Road between York Road and Route 83-next to the new Elmhurst Hospital. Brush Hill Road is the frontage road that runs along the north side of Roosevelt Road.

Free parking is available on both the south and west sides of the Building. Additional parking is located at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, the Orange Lot (southwest corner) a short 3-5 minute walk. Feel free to drop your passengers at the door before parking in the remote lot.
