lthough she was sweet and adorable in films, Debbie Reynolds had to be tough to survive unusual personal situations. From her impoverished, early background to the financial and emotional upheaval of her three disappointing marriages, Debbie kept a smile on her face while she entertained others. She also retained her public composure through a challenging relationship with her daughter, Carrie.
