The Bloomingdale Park District Museum kicks off the new year with "From My Perspective," a photography exhibit that features a variety of subject matter as seen through the selective eye of the artist. Most of the work is available for purchase.
Juror: Mel Theobold is a painter, photographer and writer who earned BFA and MFA degrees at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited internationally. He has been employed as a museum conservator, university professor, graphic designer and art consultant. He has organized exhibitions for the Russian Ministry of Culture, served as president of the SAIC Alumni Association, curated numerous exhibits in the Chicago area, been featured in solo exhibits and honored for his "friendship and advocacy for arts and education" at Purdue University-Northwest.
