Call for Artists: Visual Artists

1717 W 31st Street, Oak Brook, IL, Unknown

CALL FOR ART
As part of a collaborative initiative between the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and the DuPage Monarch Project, in May 2018 Mayslake Peabody Estate will be hosting an art exhibit featuring pollinators.

To help fill the exhibit, Mayslake Peabody Estate will be welcoming submissions Feb. 1 – April 15, 2018, of prints, drawings, paintings, photographs, or other hangable art that represent pollinators through the artist’s eye. If we receive more works than space can accommodate, a panel of visual artists who teach at the estate will select the pieces to fill the show.

We look forward to hearing from all interested artists in 2018, so happy creating!

HOW TO SUBMIT ARTWORK
If you’re interested in being considered for this exhibit, please email Kendra Strubhart at kstrubhart@dupageforest.org Feb. 1 – April 15, 2018. You may submit more than one piece, but please include the following information for each in your email:
• Your name
• Title of the piece
• Price of your piece (if it’s for sale)
• Medium you used to create the piece
• Dimensions of the piece
