The Bloomingdale Park District Museum invites photographers to submit work for consideration for the 2018 Museum photography show, "From My Perspective." The show is open to any artist 18 and over. Both black and white, and color photographs, are eligible. A limit of three pieces per artist may be accepted. Only accept work that has been completed in the last three years and has not previously been on display at the Museum will be accepted. No work that requires special installation is eligible. No nudity or any pieces deemed controversial or inappropriate by the curators will be allowed entry.

Note: All work must be properly framed and wired. Wires must be taut and secure at a point at least 1/3 down the frame. No saw-tooth hangers. Wrapped edges must be finished.

There is a non-refundable fee of $10 each or 3/$25. A maximum of three pieces may be submitted.

Juror
Mel Theobald is a painter, photographer and writer who earned BFA and MFA degrees at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited internationally. He has been employed as a museum conservator, university professor, graphic designer and art consultant. He has organized exhibitions for the Russian Ministry of Culture, served as president of the SAIC Alumni Association, curated numerous exhibits in the Chicago area, been featured in solo exhibits and honored for his “friendship and advocacy for arts and education” at Purdue University-Northwest.
