Since I retired in 2006, I have worked one series of oil paintings each year: 2007 – “The Hamlin Avenue Project” (thirteen paintings of the Northwest side Chicago neighborhood where I grew up; 2008 – a series of Beethoven paintings; 2009 – Polish heritage paintings, 2010 – baseball paintings; 2011 – paintings with military themes.

My goals are: 1. to continue to paint subjects that are of interest to me; 2. to improve a bit each year, and; 3. to generate enough income (and interest) to keep my late-in-life artistic career sustainable.
