YOUR GUIDE TO ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT IN DUPAGE COUNTY

There are no recent bookmarks.

NMGC was founded in 1988, at the Church of the Brethren in Naperville. Just over 20 men came together seeking the fellowship and songs of a university men’s glee club. The group has grown in size over the years, performed with leading university glee clubs (male and female) and represented Naperville at prestigious music events throughout the U.S.  NMGC fills a niche in the local cultural landscape, providing a model for boys and young men with vocal talent and interest.
The mission of NMGC is: S.I.N.G. (Seek musical excellence, Inspire and entertain audiences, Nurture youth and fellowship and Give back to the community).
NMGC has produced and successfully performed major concerts involving collaboration with guest soloists and choral groups in North Central College concert halls, as well as local school auditoriums and churches. We have successfully executed projects such as “NMGC Voices of Hope”.  NMGC has a successful record of fundraising and securing grants for these projects from organizations such as DuPage Foundation and IL Arts Council. Local businesses, including Naperville Bank & Trust, Edward Hospital, Fair Oaks Ford and Morgan Stanley, have also provided financial support for NMGC projects.
