Shawn Sargent Designs offers beautifully handcrafted home decor, kitchen goods, paper products, bags, gifts and accessories featuring fresh, original designs with a quirky vibe.

After creating her first digital drawings in 2011, artist and owner Shawn Sargent could imagine her colorful characters and vibrant patterns on everyday products.

Inspired to create useful items using locally-sourced, eco-friendly materials, she began to make and sell products featuring her unique drawings and designs.

Starting with just a few products and her original patterns, Shawn Sargent Designs opened her retail shop and workspace on July 7, 2015, in downtown Glen Ellyn. Engaging with customers, participating in shows and downtown events, and working to grow her business has inspired even more ideas for new products, designs and new directions. In September 2021, Shawn announced that the business will be moving to an online platform to accommodate regional an national markets. Local customers are invited to the new working studio where they will be able to experience:

• A product showroom (to buy in person or see before you buy).

• Scheduled curbside/in-person pickup and free shipping on orders over $75.

• Custom orders – Gifting a Recipe Tea Towel? Meet with us at our new studio!

• Local shows and pop-ups to see you in person throughout the year.

• Classes (tentative plan to start again in 2022).

• Curated collections of amazing handcrafted goods (just in a different “location”).
