The Fox Valley Folklore Society educates and informs the public about traditional, revival and interpretative folk music, folklore, storytelling, folk dance and related folklife art forms through the presentation of concerts, workshops, a yearly folk festival and other events. The society organizes a monthly barn dance series in Glen Ellyn.
