Downers Grove Music Club

The Downers Grove Music Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community with music and music education programs.  Our vision is a vibrant and accessible musical arts community.

The DGMC partnership with the Downers Grove Public Library was formed in 2015 with the donation of the Feurich Grand Piano as a gift to the community.  The DGMC and DGPL concert series brings quality live music to the community each month.  These concerts are free and open to the public.

The DGMC makes a significant investment in music education each year:  sponsors the Piano Festival and Competition for students of all ages up through high school; awards music scholarships to deserving student musicians; invests financially in our schools’ music departments; maintains lists of local music teachers and accompanists as a resource for students and parents.

The DGMC was founded in 1927.  Based in Downers Grove, Illinois, our members reside in many communities throughout DuPage County.
