Aurora University

Aurora University is an inclusive community dedicated to the transformative power of learning. As a teaching-centered institution, we encourage undergraduate and graduate students to discover what it takes to build meaningful and examined lives. Our singular goal is to empower our students to achieve lasting personal and professional success.

Music has a long legacy on the main campus of Aurora University. At the founding of the college in 1893, music was one of the first of four majors offered to students. Currently, Aurora offers a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Musical Theatre, as well as a minor in music. Students are invited to participate in ensembles and private study regardless of their major. Music talent scholarships are awarded to students annually.
