WSS orchestra presents From the Heart!
The West Suburban Symphony presents its “From the Heart” concert in the spacious auditorium at Christ Church in Oak Brook and it will be conducted by Maestro Peter Lipari.
This amazing WSS concert includes THE NEW WORLD SYMPHONY, by Antonín Dvořák, which will steal your heart with melodies that inspired astronaut Neil Armstrong to take a recording along to the first Moon landing. Completing this orchestral program: Edvard Grieg’s mysterious PEER GYNT, SUITE 1, telling a folk story of fantastic journeys and enduring love, and Bedřich Smetana’s overture to his BARTERED BRIDE opera, a comic tale of life in a country village.
