It’s a story, a slam, a song, a serenade, a surrender. A place to be heard and hear about the human condition. It’s community, it’s alive, it’s entertaining and elevating.
Cathy Richardson of Jefferson Starship joins Maureen Muldoon @ Voice Box. Storytelling and music mix in this innovative idea created by Maureen Muldoon. Stories inspired by a given song are told. After each one, Richardson performs a song inspired by the just told story. After these stories and songs, audience members are invited to share stories though they must be kept to five sentences.
