In this celebrated Shakespeare comedy, a very wealthy merchant is overwhelmed with suitors for his young daughter, Bianca. But even the largest of dowries can’t attract anyone to woo her fiery older sister, Katherina! Enter Petruchio, the swaggering adventurer who seeks a wife with a fortune and “will woo this wildcat.” With Bianca’s suitors waiting to compete for her affections, Petruchio and Katherina marry. But who will tame who in this always hilarious Shakespearean comedy?
