The Princess and the Goblin: a play by the Wheaton College Tolkien Society

Adapted from the story by George MacDonald. This novel-length fairy tale, first published in 1872, features Princess Irene and Curdie the miner’s son, who must find their courage to help each other and save their kingdom from some treacherous goblins. The play is adapted and performed by students in the Wheaton College Tolkien Society. Performances run 45 minutes long, are free, and no tickets or RSVPs are required, however seating is limited to first-come, first-served. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Doors open a half-hour before each performance.

This event is appropriate for ages 5 and up, is open to the public,
and will take place in the Marion E. Wade Center, Bakke Auditorium,
located at 351 East Lincoln Avenue in Wheaton on the Northwest corner of campus at the intersection of Washington Street and Lincoln Avenue. Masking is optional.
